CSIR NET Exam: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has entrusted the responsibility of conducting CSIR-UGC NET in CBT mode to NTA. CSIR-UGC NET is a test being conducted to determine the eligibility ‘for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship/Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC. 

CSIR NET Exam:

The Human Resource Development Group (HRDG), a division of CSIR, has announced in a tweet that conducting the CSIR-NET exam in July 2021 seems “unlikely”. We will give a clear notice of 2 months when the situation improves,” the official tweet read. The decision was taken due to the second wave of the COVID-19, which is on a rise. The pandemic in its second sweep, has already added to the cancellation of various government recruitment exams.

The National Testing Agency conducts the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR UGC NET) twice a year; the exam in question is for the December 2020 session, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

The second wave of the epidemic has already resulted in the cancellation of a number of government recruiting exams. The next CSIR-NET is presently looking unlikely to take place in July; if the situation improves, we will give a two-month notice.
