The Commission has decided to conduct the Main Examination of the State Service Examination-2019 in March 2021, before the preliminary examination of the State Service Examination-2020 to be held in April 2021. The dates of some recruitment examinations that have stalled the year 2020 due to the corona epidemic have also been set. The recruitment of Medical Officer, Assistant Director Horticulture etc. will be done by direct interview.
Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission was mired in controversies by releasing the result of preliminary examination for 571 posts on December 21, 2020. Well, the Commission is preparing to conduct the main examination for the posts of Deputy District Collector and Deputy Superintendent of Police in March this year.

The issue of notification of the State Service Examination at the end of 2020 has saved the year from being a zero year of PSC, but the Commission has not been able to take a single recruitment examination since January 12, 2020. Not only this, the process of final selection to take place after an examination was also not done. At present, the Commission has set a schedule of 12 examinations.
The maximum age limit has also been relaxed in the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission examination. This time, in the State Service Examination-2019, the age of the candidates will be calculated from January 1, 2020 to January 1, 2019. This will benefit those candidates who do not get a chance to appear in the examination due to one year increase in the calculation of age limit.
