HPPSC Personality Test Date: Himachal Pradesh attained statehood on 25th January, 1971. Prior to this date, the function of Public Service Commission in respect of the civil services and posts in connection with the affairs of the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh were being discharged by the Union Public Service Commission under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. It was, therefore, incumbent on the State to have its own Public Service Commission. However, since a State Public Service Commission could be constituted simultaneously with the attainment of Statehood, the Union Public Service Commission, on a request from the Governor of the State of Himachal Pradesh with the approval of the President of India, agreed to serve the needs of Himachal Pradesh till the establishment of a Public Service Commission for the State or for a period of three months from 25th January, 1971 whichever was earlier.

HPPSC Personality Test 2021:
- Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the notification for the recruitment of Works Manager, Lecturer (ASH) and Horticulture Development Officer on this page. The candidates who applied for this recruitment were subjected to the written examination in Objective Type Screening Test. The aspirants who are selected through this examination are eligible for the personality test / interview. The eligible candidates are waiting for interview call letters and date.
- Now the board has released a notice regarding the Personality test date and hall ticket. As per the notice, the personality test / interview call letters to all provisionally admitted candidates who have been declared qualified in Objective Type Screening Test for the above mentioned posts will be uploaded on the Commission’s website. This will be released along with “Instructions to candidates for Personality Test” shortly.
- In addition to this all admitted / qualified candidates will be informed through SMS / e-mail on their respective Mobile numbers and email ID provided by them in their respective online Recruitment Application.

- Click “Press Note – Regarding Personality Test for Various Posts”. Read the notice and check the exam date.
