NEET 2020: MCC releases counseling schedule for NEET, first round will start from October 27. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has released the counseling schedule for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET). The entire program for the admission of 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) has been released on the official website . As per the schedule released, registration for the first round of counseling will begin from October 27, 2020. The last date for this has been fixed till 5 November 02, 2020.

Counseling starts from 27 October 2020. In the first round, the choice filling will be from October 28 to November 2 and the seats will be allotted on November 3 and 4. At the same time, the first seat allotment list will be released on November 05, 2020. Even after this, if the seats remain vacant, the second counseling will be held between November 18 and November 22 and the result of the seat allotment will continue till November 23.

Short-listed candidates for All India Quota (AIQ) seats must first register on the official website of the MCC. Online application fees will also have to be paid during registration. Last year, the registration fees for General Candidates for AIQ and Central Universities seats were kept at Rs 1000, while for SC, ST, OBC and PWD there was a registration fee of Rs 500. At the same time, the registration fee for the seats of deemed universities was fixed at Rs 5000. Candidates will have to wait for the schedule to be released by the MCC for NEET 2020 counseling registration fees.

MCC will conduct online counseling for admission to seats under 15 percent all India quota. It will have seats in central institutes including AFMC, ESI, Delhi University (DU), BHU and AMU and Deemed University. NEET was organized across the country on 13 September in pen paper mode. A total of 15.97 lakh candidates had registered for this examination, out of which 85% to 90% students appeared in the examination.
