Periyar University Vacancy 2022: Periyar University is a university in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. It was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 1997. It is named after social reformer Thanthai Periyar E. V. Ramasamy. The University Grants Commissions, New Delhi bestowed 2f status in 1998 and 12 status in 2005 to the university.
Applications in the prescribed format are invited for the post of NSS Program Coordinator (Part Time) of Periyar University.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Associate Professor/Assistant Professor (level 12) in the University or affiliated colleges.
- Principal of affiliated college, of the Scale of pay of Associate Professor, with NSS background.
- Must have been a programme officer (NISS PO for atleast three years.)
- Must have undergone NSS orientation in a TOC/TORC.
Age Limit:
Applicants do not more than 50 years of age at the time of Selection as Coordinator.
Salary:
A Part time Programme Coordinator will receive an Out-of-pocket allowance of Rs.800 Per month.
Selection Process:
Candidates should appear for the interview with relevant original documents.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
