Eligibility criteria
Age limit
Candidates age limit for Assistant director post is 35 years, for Nautical Surveyor, Principal post is 50 years, for Junior Technical Officer post is 30 years, for should be Maximum 50 years and for Ship Surveyor age limit is 45 years as of 29.07.2021.
Experience
Assistant Director: Candidate should have M.Sc in Agricultural Chemistry or M.Sc in Chemistry with specialization either in Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry from a recognized University or Institution. Three years practical experience of work relating to analysis of Pesticides using modern sophisticated analytical instruments such as Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, High performance liquid chromatography, Gas Liquid Chromatography, etc.
Nautical Surveyor: Candidate should have a Certificate of Competency as Master of a Foreign Going Ship as recognized by the Government of India. Five years service as Deck Officer, after obtaining the certificate of competency of second mate (Foreign Going), of which one year must have been in capacity of a Master on a Foreign going s
Junior Technical Officer: Candidate should have Bachelor of Technology(Oil Technology) or Bachelor of Engineering (Oil Technology) from a recognized University or Institute. (OR) Bachelor’s degree in Science with Post-Graduate Diploma in Sugar Technology from a recognized University or Institute One year’s experience in Sugar Technology or edible oils from Public Sector Undertakings. MSc. in Chemistry or Post Graduate degree in Oil Technology from a recognized University or institute.
Principal: Candidate should have Master’s Degree from a recognized University / Institute. Bachelor of Education from a recognized university / institute and Ten years’ experience of teaching (Vice Principal / Post Graduate Teacher / Trained Graduate Teacher) in a recognized High School / Higher Secondary School / Senior Secondary School / Intermediate College. Candidate should holding Doctorate Degree from a Recognized University / Institute. Experience of Administrative charge of a Recognized High School/Higher Secondary School/Intermediate College.
Ship Surveyor: Candidate should have Degree in Naval Architecture from a recognized University. Eight years practical experience in design, communication, survey and repairs of Ships carried out in ship building or ship repairing yards or any Design or survey Organization after the period of degree course.
Selection process
Candidates are shortlisted based on Written Test and Interview. The Interview and Written exam date will be intimated shortly only for the eligible candidates.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any Community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
