Google Play Store removed 17 Malicious Android apps

Google Play Store removed 17 Malicious Android apps. Google removed the apps from the play store those steal the users private Information. A California based IT security company named as Zscaler track the 17 applications and found that these apps are infected by Joker malware. Joker spyware is design to steal the personal information of an user such as its SMS messages, its contact list , and device information also signing the victim for wireless application protocol (WAP). This spyware also steal money of user.

These 17 apps have been downloaded about 1,20,000 times. Most of these are scanner apps. Apart from this, there are some messaging apps and photo editors. When Google was informed of these apps, the company removed these apps from the Play Store. Now these apps cannot be downloaded. But if these apps are present in your phone, then you can uninstall them.

If these apps are present in your phone then uninstall these applications as soon as possible . As these apps contain Joker spyware they have tendency to steal data and money . So users must check their credit card and bank details . Also you can check your Google play store account for any unwanted subscriptions and purchases.
