Tata steel ; New system implemented for employees in Tata Steel, no need to come to office for 365 days. Amid prolonging the threat of Covid 19, domestic steel giant Tata Steel on Monday launched a new model of work for its employees under which they can work from home 365 days a year.
Tata Steel said in a statement that the new agile work model became effective from Sunday. The company said that it is moving towards a faith and results based work culture and giving more flexibility to its employees.

Under the new model effective from November 1, such officers have also been given the facility to work from home for unlimited days in a year, who have to be posted at a particular place.
The company said that once the epidemic situation returns to normal, the policy would enable company officials to relocate to the location of choice, allowing the employee to work from any location in the country.
The company said that this policy will be tested for one year. The policy will be reviewed after one year on the basis of adaptability and feedback. Suresh Dutt Tripathi, vice-president (human resource management), Tata Steel, said that flexible work not only portrays an organization’s intention to create a workplace suited to the coming generations, but also to meet the needs of its diverse workforce across geographies It also strengthens.
He said that the epidemic has helped move away from traditional thinking of productivity. It has broken many myths. In such a situation, this policy will ensure better work-life balance.
