Twitter has said, ‘After seeing Donald Trump’s recent tweet from his @realDonaldTrump account, we have suspended his account, given the risk of inciting violence permanently. In the context of the horrific events of this week, we made it clear on Wednesday that such action will be taken due to violation of Twitter rules.
At the same time, Facebook and Instagram account of Donald Trump has also been closed. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg said that the outgoing president of the country, Donald Trump, would not be able to use Facebook and Instagram until the sworn in of the newly elected President Joe Biden. This swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to be held on January 20.
Trump later used the official @POTUS government to lash out at Twitter, addressing the 75 million “great patriots” who voted for him: “We will not be SILENCED!” Trump said he was considering building his own social media platform.
