UIDAI Recruitment 2021: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is a statutory authority established under the provisions of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (“Aadhaar Act 2016”) on 12 July 2016 by the Government of India, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The Aadhaar Act 2016 has been amended by the Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Act, 2019 (14 of 2019) w.e.f. 25.07.2019.
UIDAI was created to issue Unique Identification numbers (UID), named as “Aadhaar”, to all residents of India. The UID had to be (a) robust enough to eliminate duplicate and fake identities, and (b) verifiable and authenticable in an easy, cost-effective way. As on 31 March 21, the Authority has issued 128.99 crore Aadhaar numbers to the residents of India.

Eligibility criteria
Education Qualification
Candidate must have B.Tech/B.E/MCA/M.Tech/MS for Database Administrator post and should have BE/B.Tech degree for Biometric Lead post is mandatory to apply for UIDAI Recruitment. Post Graduation is not required.

Required Experience
Biometric Lead: Candidate should have 05 years to 10 years of experience in relevant field and experience of biometric technology is a must. In-depth understanding of biometric technologies, identity and authentication management systems, Knowledge of Message Queue systems, Database, Java/J2EE, APIs, Data Analytics, MySQL, Linux/Unix, Open source technologies, scripting tools and experience in HA and DR setup, Enthusiastic about research in the area of biometrics, technology and security.
Database Administrator: Candidate should have 08 years to 13 yers of experience with administering and supporting multiple MySQL databases for performance critical, highly available systems on UNIX/Linux platform. Experience in MySQL cluster configuration, log shipping and replication management.
- Experience in creating automation tools for managing relational databases (auditing, account management, backup/restore, discovery, schema deployment) is mandatory.
