UPSEE exam will not be done now, admission will take place through JEE Mains in AKTU. Abdul Kalam Technical University has decided to abolish the Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Entrance Exam from the next academic session 2021-22. Instead, candidates will be given admission in Engineering Colleges of Uttar Pradesh on the basis of JEE Main Exam score. As you are aware, till now the engineering colleges of Uttar Pradesh under AKTU were selected by the UPSEE examination.
This is a state level exam in which a large number of students participate every year. Through this, about 1.40 lakh seats in 750 different colleges of the state are selected. However, now AKTU has decided to finish this exam. Instead, students will have to appear for the National Level Examination Entrance Exam (JEE) Main.
This decision will be applicable from the next academic session i.e. 2021-22. There will be no impact on this year’s admissions. He will be like last year.
UPSEE exam will not be done now
Students can download the national test practice application by going to the Google Play Store to practice the JEE Main exam. They will get the JEE Main exam papers, by seeing which they can guess what the pattern of this exam is and how it is different from UPSEE exam. Apparently UPSEE is a state level examination and JEE National level will have a lot of difference in their standards, but to understand this difference it would be better to look at the JEE papers.
With this decision, the competition of students also increased and the level of examination was also increased. Now it will not be easy to get admission in engineering colleges of UP. However, in this regard, the university has also said that JEE free coaching will be made available in some recognized secondary schools to get students tested with the paper pattern of JEE.
The JEE examination is conducted twice a year by the National Testing Agency, or NTA. Through this, candidates get admission in the top engineering colleges in the country.
